I'm almost tempted to just say 'F*ck it!' and apply to art schools. Becoming a pharmacist does not sound too bad, and all. It's a very nice paying job and I like chemistry and science and all that jazz. But, I love art so much. My mom does not want me to give it up. The only reason I am thinking about other careers is to make my father happy. He doesn't think I'll make it as an artist. And I'm sick of trying to please him when it is so damn blatantly obvious that my brother is his favorite. I should just run away to college, majoring in my fine arts or painting or illustration.
